Greetings from Harvard University field sites!

Activities take place among the world-famous collections of North American, Maya, and Ancient Near Eastern archaeology held by the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology and the Harvard Semitic Museum. Meet NeferKITTY the cat mummy, make a musical instrument with clay, visit the brand new exhibition about clay instruments “Ocarinas of the Americas: Music Made in Clay,” talk to archaeologists, explore behind-the-scenes treasures, dig deeper into colonial history with a new mobile phone guide, try out stone tools, throw a spear with the World Atlatl Association, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages.

12:30 PM “Houses of Ancient Israel” exhibition
1:00 PM Behind-the-Scenes tour (limited to the first 20 people)
2:30 PM Behind-the-Scenes tour (limited to the first 20 people)
3:00 PM “From the Nile to the Euphrates” exhibition


All activities are free with museum admission. Free event parking at the 52 Oxford Street Garage.
