The Afro Caribbean Museum will host a week of events celebrating ArtWeek and a cohort of talented Emerging Artists.

April 30th : FREE to Public  *FREEDOM IN THE LIGHT* Poetry Artist Talk + Exhibit: Poetry book reading and artist talk by Angel Padilla aka Freedom. He will also have copies of his poetry Book “Mixture of Gods” for sale along with Crystals/Gemstones

May 2nd:  $20 International art show at the Afro Caribbean Museum features work from renowned international artist. Artists Roberson Joseph, Fabrice Dorante, Jonas Exume, Jackson Day, Phillippe Claude, Jean Ricardo Domond will be onsite to tell stories about their work, process and inspiration. Patrons will learn about different cultures and parts of the world via the work and stories.

May 4th :  Free Documentary viewing, “MIND OF AN INTROVERT” Followed by a talk and discussion with the artists about his work and the documentary. Copies of the “MIND OF AN INTROVERT” Documentary you will be available for sale.

May 5th: $20  Mfalme Kenyatta, an emerging Boston artist, will be displaying his second Solo Show “Mind of An Introvert” and will give an artist talk about his creative process and his inspiration for the work in the show.

May 6th:  $30 Live music at the Afro Caribbean Gallery.  Musicians from multiple genres will be performing original music in the gallery space.  Artists will speak about the process of creating the music & the inspiration behind it.
