April 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm–5:00 pm
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE WAIT LIST.
Enjoy a Fun and unique hands-on DIY experience plus complimentary wine, beer and munchies while you create your very own coat rack re-using vintage elements salvaged from Beacon Hill brownstones and 150 year old Boston buildings. Vintage Vagabond owner, Amy Chenette provides the direction and tools you need to sand, paint, drill and transform reclaimed beadboard, window trim, or wooden mantel parts and salvaged stair spindles into functional pieces for hanging anything from clothing to dog leashes! Paint, and distress the antique wood to match your decor, or keep the original patina. Considered a master in the design and re-use of “upcycled” furnishings, Amy guides and inspires you to just use your imagination to craft one-of-a-kind as well as eco-friendly coveted conversation pieces!
Fee covers instructors, all salvaged elements, supplies and paint as well as wine, beer, soda, and light refreshments! Event takes place in unique venue, Circa, at Restoration Resources, a two time recipient of Boston Magazine’s, “Best of Boston Home, and regarded as “New England’s Premiere source for Antique Architectural Salvage, Vintage Furnishings, and Unique artifacts”.
