At 12:45pm for first-time walkers, an introduction to walking a labyrinth with Chiara Megighian Zenati, Certified Labyrinth Instructor.
At 1:30pm attend the Reception to View the 2016 Configuration of the Abstract Sculpture, a split dodecahedron. Lucas Cowan, Public Art Curator, Greenway Conservancy will offer remarks. The experience also brings the opportunity to speak with the Park’s Designer/Architect and to enjoy tea & desserts, hosted by MEM Tea Imports and Eastern Lamejun Bakers. The Abstract Sculpture commemorates the immigrant experience. Annually, the two halves of the dodecahedron are lifted by a crane and reconfigured, symbolic of all who were pulled away from their country of origin and came to these Massachusetts shores, establishing themselves in new ways.
