Learn how to create art with new technologies! Computer platforms and coding are a foundational language for new ways of communicating. This site-specific collaboration between New York–based artist Saya Woolfalk and her 7-year-old daughter, Aya Woolfalk Mitchell, an avid coder who uses Scratch, an online coding tool for kids developed at MIT, invites visitors of all ages to express themselves. Building on the theme “actualizing hope,” the project adopts the language of basic coding as a platform for imagining a better world. Supported, in part, by the Raymond T. & Ann T.
