Multimedia Watercolor Explorations II
April 28, 2018 at 9:00 am–12:00 pm

What’s not to love about art that is accessible to all ages and ability levels and is perfect for group display! This free one-hour introductory level art event will introduce participants to several exciting watercolor techniques layered with marker, colored pencil, and pastel. The final product, a three-dimensional pod, will be displayed in a public installation during Franklin’s Artweek. Working with Carolann Tebbetts, visual arts director for FPS and high school art teacher, a range of techniques will be utilized to first create a 2D decorative surface. That 2D paper will be transformed into a three-dimensional pod that twirls and moves when hung in a open area. All pods will be installed in a public venue for the town to enjoy! The techniques are simple so this workshop is open to all elementary-aged children and seniors.
Registration is required. Anyone interested can stop by the Franklin Senior center to sign up or call 508-520-4945.
