Pairing II: An Interactive Dance and Food Event
April 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm–5:00 pm
If biting into a caramelized onion tart with Gruyere and thyme while watching a dance called “Kneading” sounds interesting, then don’t miss “Pairing II”. Continuum Dance Project is creating a sequel to its extremely successful site-specific interactive dance and food event in spring 2015 “Pairing” at a unique Victorian house. “Pairing II” reunites choreographers Adriane Brayton and Fernadina Chan with chef Dani Coleman to collaborate on a brand new dance/food menu for a unique sensory experience this spring.
This is an artistic social event where the audience gets to watch dances in unconventional spaces; sample the culinary art inspired by the dances; and socialize while comparing their take on the pairing with each other over food and drink.
Due to limited capacity at the venue, attendees should RSVP via provided evite link and then follow instructions to make a donation to Boston Dance Alliance to benefit Continuum Dance Project. Donations should be made in advance of the event. All attendees should save their donation receipt for admission into the event. Donations for admission will be accepted at the door if capacity permits.
About Consortium Dance Project: Continuum Dance Project is a consortium of Boston Arts Academy alum choreographers and dancers collaborating and exploring new choreography presented in traditional and unconventional venues.
