April 29, 2017 at 10:00 am–3:00 pm
The community is invited to participate in multiple paint experiences as a part of the TILL Wave Art Gallery’s Paint Festival Day on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10:00am- 3:00pm. In front of the Gallery at 264 Arlington Street, Watertown, TILL Artist-in-Residence, Roscoe Lamontagne will be providing unique airbrush designs on shirts, hats and tattoos. At the rear of the gallery, guests will be able to “Roller Paint” with adaptive paint equipment allowing people who use wheelchairs or walkers to design and paint original prints. There will also be performances throughout the day by the TILL Wave Band in the gallery.
This is a free event, welcoming everyone to experience “Art for All” !
About airbrush painting: A unique medium to create “one of a kind” designs, whether temporary as a tattoo or on a shirt or hat. Everyone, from 7-70, enjoys the creative results when Roscoe and his crew take up the airbrush.
About roller painting: Based on “Zot Art” an adaptive equipment company that designs equipment to attach to wheelchairs and walkers that allow people to fully participate in creating their own prints using their own equipment. Roller painting is not only inspiring to the artists who create the art, but it is incredibly inspiring to observe. We are proud to introduce this artform to Watertown and the Artweek community.
