A very unique form of art, Ebru Watermarbling is done in water unlike any other painting form. The roots of this art reach the 16th century Ottoman Empire, and continues to be a trend all around world today. If you are intrigued by different art forms and want to expand your knowledge and experiences with art, you will have the opportunity to learn about Ebru Watermarbling. Executed carefully on an aqueous surface design, you can produce similar to smooth marble or other kinds of stone. The patterns are the result of color floated on either plain water or a viscous solution known as size, and then carefully transferred to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric.
