Meet the ArtWeek 2020 Team!
January 10, 2020
Happy New Year!
2020 is here and we all know what that means… time to get to work creating another year of ArtWeek. On Monday, Kelly Artamonov, who works year-round for the Boch Center and has been with ArtWeek since 2015, was joined by four seasonal staff members to round out the 2020 team.
Jane Long is back on board for her 3rd season as ArtWeek Manager. In the off-season, she works as a production manager on public art and events, and she is excited to be back for another amazing ArtWeek.
Also joining us this year are Jonathan Carpenter, Alex Pesek, and Alyssa Calloway.
Alyssa Calloway – Communications Fellow
Alyssa is a Northeastern student from Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Communications Major with minors in both Theatre and Arts Administration. Outside of work, she is involved with the Theatre Department at Northeastern as both a performer and a stage manager.
Jonathan Carpenter – ArtWeek Associate
Jonathan is an arts administrator based in Cambridge. After studying Organismic & Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, he decided to pursue his passion and quickly found his place in the arts after graduation. Previously, Jonathan worked with American Conservatory Theater, the Celebrity Series of Boston, and Owl Labs. Outside of work, he music directs the award winning a cappella group the Eight Tracks.
Alex Pesek – Graphic Design Fellow
Alex is a Northeastern student studying Design. She’s from Louisville Kentucky, grew up in Minneapolis Minnesota, and was born outside of Chicago. Alex is passionate about music, and is involved with both a music magazine and a non-profit record label at Northeastern.
ArtWeek, as always, is spearheaded by the Boch Center’s ArtWeek Lead Champion/Chief Strategic Officer Sue Dahling Sullivan. Since starting at the Center at 2005, Sue has helped drive a transformational strategic plan using the Balanced Scorecard including a governance reform initiative and award-winning education and community programs, which now include ArtWeek.
