Participate in Special Programs
Besides being an ArtWeek Event Host or Community Partner, there are other ways to be involved with ArtWeek! Please read about our special programs below.
Applications for both Art of Food and Light Up the Night programs are now CLOSED. ArtWeek on the Road spotlights are by invitation only. Submissions for Lodging Offers will be accepted on a rolling basis until April 5.
Art of Food – APPLICATIONS CLOSED
In the fall of 2015, ArtWeek began celebrating creativity each season with the Art of Food. We have tapped the creative genius behind the hospitality and restaurant sector with these partner restaurants, which feature a special ArtWeek menu item inspired by a piece of art, a favorite album, artist or an arts group – where nothing is off the table! The best part? Some of these restaurants have generously committed to making a contribution that will purchase arts supplies for local schools, libraries and community centers.
Light Up the Night – APPLICATIONS CLOSED
As a special nighttime salute to our arts, cultural, and creative communities, iconic buildings and structures light up during ArtWeek on different nights in multicolored splendor. “Light Up the Night” is a colorful skyline celebration representing the wide spectrum of diverse artists and creative organizations – whether a traditional arts nonprofit, individual artist, scientist, chef, or other creative professional or business – who are the innovators and champions of creativity within all of our communities.
Attention – Massachusetts hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, country inns, and more*! As a part of the 2019 #DestinationArtWeek campaign, ArtWeek is looking to our friends in the hospitality sector to welcome ArtWeek event attendees to cities and towns across our Creative Commonwealth. Join the fun by offering a special lodging discount or package during the ten days of ArtWeek for new visitors during the “Bay State’s most creative festival.” As a bonus, ArtWeek will list your site and discounted offer on one of the six regional Destination ArtWeek webpages. ArtWeek on the Road
ArtWeek on the Road features larger-than-life digital roadside billboards showcasing art from select participating organizations. Clear Channel Outdoor, in partnership with the Boch Center, is generously continuing teir sponsorship of this program for 2019. Arts and creativity have the power to connect and inspire us in a Big Way – and “ArtWeek on the Road” drives that point home. Stay tuned to see who will be decorating our highways this season.
