Multi-Media Watercolor Explorations I
April 27 at 4:00 pm–6:00 pm
What’s not to love about art that is accessible to all ages and ability levels and is perfect for group display! This free two-hour introductory level art event will introduce participants to several exciting watercolor techniques layered with marker, colored pencil, and pastel. The final product, a three-dimensional pod, will be displayed in a public installation during Franklin’s ArtWeek. Working with Carolann Tebbetts, visual arts director for FPS and high school art teacher, a range of techniques will be utilized to first create a 2D decorative surface. That 2D paper will be transformed into a three-dimensional pod that twirls and moves when hung in a open area. All pods will be installed in a public venue for the town to enjoy! This workshop is open to all middle school aged children and students in the Best Buddies program (with a buddy)! This class has 20 only spots available.
